Sitter Connect has a family looking for a part-time nanny in Wethersfield, CT.
Schedule: Monday through Thursday 9 am – 1 pm, occasional Tuesday evenings 5:30 – 8 pm
Start Date: June 2025
Job Tasks: Daily caregiving for a toddler aged child with the hopes of expanding their family in the next year. Seeking a caregiver with infant+ experience, able to care for multiple children at once. Duties including but not limited to: meal preparation, dressing children, diaper changing, potty training, activity planning, engaging in learning skills, assisting to achieve learning milestones, creative play, outside activities and providing a safe environment at all times. Light household duties for the children only (i.e. cleaning up after meal time, wiping down surfaces as needed, etc) and must be comfortable with pets (household dog). Parents follow Montessori method and open to training candidate who may not have this type of experience, Montessori experience a preferred.
Pay Rate: $20-25/hour based on experience of candidate for one child, would increase rate for 2 children in future

- Communicative and responsive; always responding when parent is checking in on children
- Reliable and punctual
- Must have their own and reliable transportation, family would provide gas/mileage reimbursment
- Willing to go above and beyond to provide exceptional care and creating a safe environment
- CPR/First Aid Certified or the ability to obtain CPR certification prior to start date
- Flu vaccination current and initial covid vaccination preferred
- Montessori knowledge and experience a plus
