Sitter Connect has a family looking for a part-time nanny in Middletown, CT.
Schedule: Thursday and Friday 2 – 6 pm, with added hours up to 20 hours per week if candidate wanted additional hours. This is a year round and long term position.
Start Date: January 2026
Job Tasks: Daily caregiving for one toddler aged child, including but not limited to: meal preparation, dressing child, diaper changing, potty training (when applicable in future), activity planning, engaging in learning skills, assisting in achieving learning milestones, creative play, outside activities and providing a safe environment at all times. Cleaning up after play areas, snacks/meals and activities with child.
Pay Rate: $20+/hour based on experience of successful candidate
Our ideal candidate:
- 5+ years caregiving experience preferred
- Experience with infant and toddler aged children required
- A friendly, compassionate, patient and dedicated personality
- Communicative and responsive; always responding when parents are checking in on children
- Reliable and punctual
- Must have their own and reliable transportation
- Non-Smoker
- Comfortable swimmer a plus
- Willing to go above and beyond to provide exceptional care and creating a safe environment
- CPR Certified or the ability to obtain CPR certification prior to start date
