Sitter Connect has a family looking for a part-time nanny in Madison, CT.
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 10:30 am (would also consider 4 days per week). This is a year round and long term position.
Start Date: flexible based on candidate
Job Tasks: This is a dual part time nanny and family assistant/light household help role. Daily caregiving for two school aged children, including but not limited to: meal preparation, dressing children, inside and outside activites, ensuring children are ready and get to school/bus timely, providing a safe environment at all times. Household help duties are required after children are at school which includes: light household duties provided by family, cleaning up after meals, play areas, activities, assisting with family errands, organizing, folding laundry, etc.
Pay Rate: $20-25+/hour based on experience of successful candidate
Our ideal candidate:
- 5+ years caregiving and household help experience required
- Experience with school aged children required
- A friendly, compassionate, patient and dedicated personality
- Communicative and responsive; always responding when parents are checking in on children
- Reliable and punctual
- Self-Starter who takes initiative and can complete daily tasks in a timely manner
- Must have their own and reliable transportation (no transportation of children needed just to/from the house)
- Non-Smoker
- Comfortable swimmer a plus
- Willing to go above and beyond to provide exceptional care and creating a safe environment
- CPR Certified or the ability to obtain CPR certification prior to start date
- Comfortable with cat and dogs in the home
- General wellness vaccines (childhood vaccines) updated
