Sitter Connect has a family looking for a part-time nanny/sitter in East Haddam, CT.
Schedule: Weekly 1-2 evenings per week 4:30-7 pm AND a weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) half or full day during daytime hours. Schedule is planned 2-3 weeks in advance
Start Date: ASAP
Job Tasks: Daily caregiving for 3 children ages 3+ years old (main care is youngest 2), including but not limited to: meal preparation, feeding, dressing child, working on developmental milestones, activity planning, assisting to achieve learning milestones, creative play, outside activities, transporting to/from local activities, and providing a safe environment at all times. Light household duties for the family included as this is a duel nanny and household help role (i.e. cleaning up after meal time, wiping down surfaces as needed, laundry, tidying childcare spaces, etc) and must be comfortable with pets (household dogs).
Pay Rate: $20-22+/hour based on experience of candidate

- A friendly, compassionate, patient and dedicated personality
- Communicative and responsive; always responding when parent is checking in on children
- Reliable and punctual
- Experienced with toddler age group and up to 3 children at a time
- Takes initiative and willing to jump right in to aid family and maintain household
- Follow a schedule, can be given direction and take the lead with tasks needed
- Must have their own and reliable transportation
- Willing to go above and beyond to provide exceptional care and creating a safe environment
- CPR Certified and current, or the ability to obtain CPR certification prior to start date
